In the past I have shared my thoughts about educational technology on a password protected web site hosted by our school district. This year, I will begin posting technology related chatter for the K-8 school setting on this blog. Please note that the ideas shared on this site do not reflect the thoughts and opinions of my school district. Since it is late in the evening, and I have a full day of curriculum work before me tomorrow, my first blog post will share with you a link to a favorite blog, Free Technology for Teachers. Here Richard Byrne posts an abundance of links daily to sites you will be able to put to use in your classroom. Today I’d like to bring your attention to his post from Monday, August 2nd, Seven Search Engines for Students. I was especially interested in KidRex, and think it will be popular in the elementary classroom this school year.
